Today is our day. 7 years of everything called life...
WE blended a family: Mike 4, Kacie 2, and we added one together. Yes- we legit have 7 kids
Traveled to over 30 countries. I never even had a passport before marrying Mike.
We learned to golf as a couple. Mike no longer is allowed to throw his clubs...if he does I join the cart behind us.
After many years of persuasion I convinced Mike he also does not like winter and we moved to Scottsdale.
We learned to work together, celebrate our victories together, and set boundaries around schedules all while surviving covid.
We still go on dates. Share secrets like kids. Watch the sunset. Laugh at stupid stuff. Dance in ways I pray no one besides him sees. And talk about the hard stuff. Our life is hard. Yet, it's the good kind of hard. The kind that takes having your soul mate by your side to let you know it's all good.
Today I celebrate 7 years with the best guy for ME.

Closing yourself off to the rest of the world and holing up underneath the shelter of what you’re familiar with FEELS safe. (Ask me how I know.) 😊

Stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something that forces you to relinquish control does NOT feel so good… In fact, it’s freakin’ scary. 😟

But goodness, am I thankful for my girl friends who loved me enough not to leave me in that “safe” place.

The persistent, tough love of those who pushed me to a level of real and raw vulnerability literally changed my life forever.

And I don’t really understand it because most people could care less about shiny cars 🚗, fancy gifts 🎁, and extravagant trips ✈. Let’s face it, nobody really NEEDS those things. 🤷‍♀️

But there are people out there who DO need… 👇

👉 an extra $300 each month to buy groceries or gas…

👉an opportunity to work from home so they can eliminate child care expenses from their budget and have more time with their kids…

👉 extra funds to put away for a car, house, college, retirement, or a rainy day…

👉 a new purpose and challenge now that their kids are grown and gone.

And there is no better place than this industry to accomplish all the above and so much more.
